An interesting look at average sale prices for homes in North Kingstown over the last 8 years. As you can see, the rates have been up and down over time. Somewhat shocking to many town residents, the rates are actually a little lower now than they have been for most of that period. What is important to remember is since the prices can change dramatically one way or the other so abruptly, it is hard to determine the "right" time to be in the market for a home. One goal for a future blog post is to try and examine statistics such as these over time and try and conclude an educated opinion about when would be the best time to pursue property.
