Recent Housing Statistics

I decided to do some research about recent housing statistics in North Kingstown. I was able to locate some numbers as recentley as January of this year, and this is how it breaksdown:

12 total houses were sold in NK in the month of January 2011

• 2 homes sold for over $400,000



• 1 home sold for between $300,000-$400,000



• 9 homes sold less than $300,000

Looking over these statistics, it is a very encouraging sign as a resident of the town. Clearly, the market for very expensive housing is thin. This shows that the avilability of lower market houses is out there for families on a smaller budget. Over the course of this blog I plan to relate data such as this to other aspects of affordable housing.
